Barley normally grows with an inedible hull, but we source a special variety that naturally grows without one. This means that it doesn’t require a damaging dehulling process, so we can sprout the whole grain, keeping all the fibre and protein intact. Sprouting barley decreases its cook time, aids in digestibility and enhances its taste and texture. Barley contains gluten.
