Brown Rice is a good source of protein, fibre and B-vitamins. Sprouted brown rice has a sweeter, more delicate taste and a softer texture than regular brown rice.

Quinoa is native to the Andes and has been consumed by humans for over 3,000 years. It’s a good source of protein and fibre, and contains 8 essential vitamins and minerals.

Kaniwa is native to the Peruvian Andes and has more than 200 varieties. It is a close cousin to Quinoa but is smaller, darker in colour and has a mild, nutty, slightly sweet flavour.

Amaranth has been cultivated for 8,000 years, and is high in iron and protein. It was a staple food for the Aztecs known as Huāuhtli, and used to make ritual food and drinks.
